ABOUT SCIKIDS MAIL
What is Scikids Mail?
Scikids Mail is a web-email gateway which allows you to read and process
your new email from a web browser running on any machine with access to
the internet. It is a full featured email client package which provides
facilities to read new mail, send and forward messages, send and view attachments,
use folders to organize your messages etc.
What is Parent-Child Account?
Parent-Child accounts provide a simple way for parents to control who
a child will receive email from.
Scikids Mail has a unique accept-list and reject-list way to filter
incoming e-mails. When a child receives email from a person the following
steps occur:

Check if the message is on the child's reject-list, if so delete it.

Check if the sender is on the child's accept-list, if so deliver the message
to the child .

Otherwise forward the message to the parent, with attached child_accept,
child_reject options.

If the parent presses child_accept then the message is returned to the
child and the sender is added to the child's accept list.

If the parent presses child_reject then the message is irrevocably deleted
and the sender is added to the child's reject list.
The parent may also edit the child's accept and reject lists directly.
Parent and child accounts are just normal Scikids mail accounts. To register
a account as a child account you must know the email address and password
for that account. Once an account has a registered parent it becomes a
child account and the user of it loses the ability to control their own
accept and reject lists - this control passes to the parent. A parent can
control multiple child accounts. Also the parent needs to know the child's
password only when setting up the relationship, after that the child can
change their password.
